The one-year-old Ghanaian Guinness Record Holder, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, has officially received his certificate as the world’s youngest artist.
The young painter’s Instagram page was updated with an announcement about the arrival of the certificate bearing his name as well as the accomplishment.
“Ace-Liam has officially received his certificate from Guinness World Records, and we are over the moon to share this beautiful moment with you,” the caption read. The one-year-old, who started painting at the age of eight months, dethroned Dante Lamb, who had held the title since 2003 and became the world’s youngest painter at the age of one. Ace Liam started his journey on June 16, 2023, when his mother, Chantelle Eghan, filed an application on the Guinness World’s Record website.
Liam was able to pursue the record after meeting the necessary requirements demanded by the Guinness World Record. The endeavour took place in Accra between January 18 and January 20, 2024.

The official recognition will not only draw attention to Ace Liam’s extraordinary abilities but also position him as a worldwide example of extraordinary youth talent.
The young painter had the opportunity to present his paintings to Ghana’s first lady somewhere in May 2024. The CEO of Glitz Claudia Kwarteng Lumor, also paid a visit to Liam and his mother to make donations to cover Liam’s education costs for a year.
