Quables, the Co-founder of the famous Ghanaian dance group, Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy, has opened up about the events leading to the exit of former member, Afronita.
After the group’s poster child, Dancegod Lloyd, exited the group unexpectedly, Afronita, a dancer in the group, also bowed out of the group in January of this year, amid rumours of conflict in the DWP academy.
Speaking in an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon, Quables revealed that Afronita had repeatedly rejected an offer to sign a contract with DWP.
“They never signed the contract, every time I present the contract, they don’t sign. Her mother told me that people say this is what a manager is supposed to do and I am doing this and that,” he said in a brief video clip that Kwadwo Sheldon posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Quables explained that while he had good intentions for the dancer and wanted her to succeed in her career, her mother constantly accused him of poor management.
According to Quables, Afronita’s mother once threatened him that if he continued to manage her colleague and lead dancer, Endurance Grand, she would leave the academy.
“I was told that if I continue to manage Endurance, then her daughter will not do it again, her mother told me. First of all, you didn’t sign the contract and now you are telling me this?”Quables told Kwadwo Sheldon. “On phone calls, she will be like when people call you, stop giving Afronita’s job to Endurance Grand.”
