National Communications Team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Yaw Kumi has defeated the incumbent Member of Parliament, Honourable Ama Sey in the party’s internal primaries.
Yaw Kumi beat Ama Sey by just four votes. Yaw Kumi polled 227 votes while Ama Sey polled 223 votes.
Ama Sey, a hairdresser, has been in the news for beating the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Baba Jamal, in the 2016 General Elections.
