Allegations
The lawsuit alleges that Sophia Momodu rejected a N200 million apartment in a gated community in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, which he had purchased because of his daughter.
“The respondent rejected the offer to stay and live at the above-described secured Oniru apartment, which had already been purchased, but demanded that I continue to pay N5,000,000 annually for a rented facility as my contribution towards my daughter’s accommodation,” parts of the lawsuit read.
According to the lawsuit, Davido had acquired a Range Rover car to aid in the transportation of his daughter to school.
“I bought a Range Rover Sport Utility Vehicle for the use of the child and the respondent to meet the transport needs, including transportation of the child to and from school,” the lawsuit read.
However, he received a call from his daughter’s school informing him of his daughter’s two weeks absence which he queried Momodu about, only for her to point out that the daughters had missed school because the Range Rover was not in good shape to convey them to school.
