I almost Committed Suicide Because of Fake News – Fella Makafui

Speaking in an interview on Day Break Hitz, Makafui revealed that she had been subjected to severe trolling, which led her to consider suicide.

Former Yolo Actress, Fella Makafui, has disclosed that she nearly committed suicide due to social media trolls and fake news published online about herself.

Speaking in an interview on Day Break Hitz, Makafui revealed that she had been subjected to severe trolling, which led her to consider suicide.

“Somewhere in 2019, I almost committed suicide over an issue that was false. My manager whom I have worked with for nine years called me over the phone to tell me about it and asked if it were true,” she said.

“At that point, I felt like committing suicide. It got to me and I had to get into therapy to work on my mental health. It was that bad and that is the reason why I never want to grant interviews or allow such issues bother me again,” she added.

According to Fella, there are numerous false publications about her, but she has decided not to pay attention to them because she only considers gossip relevant when she comments on it.

“We celebrities have our private lives and it’s not everything we do that is real. We want you to believe what we put out there but not everything we do is real. You cannot judge me because you see me out there doing certain things. I don’t bother about such things anymore because I know myself,” she said.

Answering questions about her breakup with Medikal and a viral video of her smoking at D Black’s club, she stated that these are personal matters that she would prefer to keep private.
