The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama is set to host journalists on Sunday, July 7 as part of the beginning of a series of engagements with journalists toward the general election in December.
“This major engagement not with journalists is the first in a series of similar encounters that Mahama will have with the media before the December elections,” a statement signed by his Spokesperson Joyce Bawah Mogtari said.
Full details of the meeting with the NDC candidate are not immediately clear. But even as the media has covered and still gives coverage to activities of his campaigns, the statement said this incoming meeting would be an “opportunity for him to share his vision for Ghana’s future and address important national interest issues.”
