Ghanaian gospel music collective, Team Eternity, has announced the tragic death of one of its vibrant members, Nhyira Marfo Okyere.
The group issued a statement on August 7, 2024, to announce the death of Nhyira Marfo Okyere, who was a lead singer. The underlying cause of her death is, however, unknown as of yet.
“We announce the sudden passing of our friend and sister, Nhyira Marfo Okyere. We are grief-stricken and heartbroken, but we turn to the Lord for comfort. We trust in His promise to be with us always and take refuge in his love. We ask that you keep Nhyira’s family and Team Eternity Ghana in your prayers. We are grateful for your continued love and support,” excerpts of the statement read.
Nhyira Marfo Okyere was last seen performing along with Team Eternity at a concert on Sunday, Aug 2, 2024.

This is not the music group’s first loss. Last year, Team Eternity lost one of its members, Kevin Adiamah.
