Olympic Games 2024: Ghana’s 21-Member Delegation Heads to Paris

Ghana has sent a 21-member team, including 8 athletes and 13 officials, to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, following a training camp in Strasbourg, France, to refine their skills and prepare for the global competition.

A 21-member Ghanaian contingent, consisting of eight athletes and 13 officials, is set to represent Ghana at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The delegation left Ghana for Strasbourg, France, today for a training camp, before heading to the Paris Games Village. The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

The training camp in Strasbourg is intended to polish the team’s skills and improve their performance before the games start.

The athletic team includes a 4x100m relay team in track and field, swimmers Joselle Mensah and Harry Stacey, and high jumper Rose Yeboah.

The rest of the delegation includes officials such as Ben Nunoo-Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, and Isaac Kwasi Aboagye, the Chef de Mission.

According to Nunoo-Mensah, the team is ready to face the challenge ahead.
