French footballer, Kylian Mbappé, has been unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday, 16 July 2024, at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, after years of futile attempts to sign him to the club.
After completing the necessary medical tests to assess his fitness, Mbappé was unveiled as a Real Madrid player, signing a five-year contract with the reigning Champions League winners.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player donned the iconic number nine jersey, as former players including Ronaldo Nazário de Lima, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema had previously done.

Addressing the fans in attendance at his presentation, Mpabbe stated that it was his dream to be a part of the Real Madrid team and expressed his gratitude to the audience.
“It’s an incredible day for me, I’ve dreamt of this day since I was a kid and this day means a lot to me. I’d like to thank all Madristas because they have always given their affection to me. Now I have another dream, and that’s the dream of living up to this club’s history,” he said.
Mbappe will form part of an offensive alliance alongside England midfielder Jude Bellingham and Brazil attacker Vinícius Júnior, under the watch of veteran Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti.
