Augustine Boakye, a Ghanaian winger, has joined French club AS Saint-Étienne on a contract that runs until 2028, with an optional extension for another year.
In 2021, he moved to Europe and signed with Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Bundesliga. Initially, he played for the reserve team, but his hard work earned him a promotion to the first team the following season
The 2023-2024 season was a breakthrough year for Boakye, as he scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 26 appearances, leaving a lasting impression on Austrian football. Now, he’s set to bring his skills to AS Saint-Étienne.
Boakye developed his skills at the West African Football Academy in Ghana before making a name for himself in Ghanaian football.
