Nigerian songstress, Tems, has released her debut studio album dubbed “Born In The Wild,” on June 7, 2024, despite the album’s initial postponement.
The 18-track album includes guest appearances from J. Cole and Asake and was produced by Tems, Sarz, P2J, Spax, London, Dame Dame, and GuiltyBeatz.
The singles “Me & U” and “Love Me JeJe” were released to support the album.

The Grammy-winning musician stated that the process of recovering from her illness inspired some of her new songs. Following the album’s release, Tems will embark on a global tour, beginning with a special headline show at London’s Eventim Apollo on June 12th.
According to Tems, “Born In The Wild is a story of transformation, from a cocoon to a butterfly. It speaks on surviving mental wilderness and coming to a place where one can thrive.”
