Ghanaian artist Xlimkid has released a new song titled “Clowns in a Circus” which appears to be directed at YGA O’Kenneth of the Asakaa Boys music collective. The song follows Xlimkid’s initial fallout with YGA O’Kenneth after they traded insults on social media last month.
Reports suggest the feud began when O’Kenneth reportedly sold the masters of their joint EP (Pain in Glory) without Xlimkid’s permission. Xlimkid took to social media to lash out at the Asakaa crew and YGA O’Kenneth. The exchange of words on social media transitioned to an exchange of songs, when O’Kenneth released his track “Power”, aimed at Xlimkid. In response, Xlimkid fired back with “Clowns in a Circus.”
Xlimkid’s song opens with him singing on a slow and smooth beat referring to O’Kenneth and the Asakaa crew as clowns in a circus.
“Clowns in a circus, Clowns in a circus, pawns in a battlefield, dancing in circles. Clowns in a circus, clowns in a circus, don’t wanna bleed you. Fighting the devil,” he said in the new song.

In the second part of the song, on a different beat transition, Xlimkid queries O’Kenneth about the whereabouts of the documents he said he would present to him.
“Mese jack mommer3 me me krataa no. Krataa naa wosi saa ada no wode b3ba aa Besi n3 yi woowaawaa ho,” Xlimkid raps in Twi
