A Plus Lauds Mahama’s Tolerance for Criticism

Kwame Obeng Asare, also known as A Plus, has praised former President John Dramani Mahama for his exemplary tolerance of criticism while in office.

According to A Plus, the former president assigned security guards for his protection despite how he publicly criticised and relentlessly attacked Mahama for shortcomings during his tenure in office.

In an interview with Angel FM, A Plus disclosed that no one can be harmed or attacked for criticising the Akufo-Addo-led government. He went on to say that he did the same with previous administrations and nothing happened to him.

“Nobody can do anything to me. When we were following them (NPP) we used to criticize John Mahama, and he assigned National Security personnel to protect us. During his time, we were accusing and attacking him (Mahama) for wrongdoing,” he said.

In addition, he revealed that Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the current Minister of Works and Housing, received security protection while being threatened for criticising Mahama.

“Ask Oppong Nkrumah if Mahama didn’t give him security protection when he had an issue. So, I don’t care what people say,” he said.

A Plus’ constant attacks on the incumbent government have prompted criticism from some NPP members who are uncomfortable with his statements.

The pundit has insisted that he will keep pressing the government to act morally until the proper actions are taken.
