The leadership of the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association has endorsed a pledge made by Alan Kyerematen for his pledge to introduce a fixed rate on import duties.
Mr. Kyerematen, an independent presidential candidate, has promised to implement this initiative within the first six months when voted into office.
In a statement issued by the association on March 4, 2024, they indicated the initiative will significantly bolster the growth of the spare parts industry.
“The leadership of the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association announces its endorsement of the independent presidential candidate, Mr. Alan Kyerematen’s commitment to introducing a fixed rate on import duties,” the statement said.
