On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Tempane District Students’ Union (TEDSU) in collaboration with TII Foundation Ghana visited Tempane Senior High School in the Upper East Region of Ghana as part of their annual “After SHS, What Next?” initiative. The event aimed to guide senior high school students on their options after completing their secondary education.

Over 1,000 students benefited from interactive sessions on various topics, including tech careers, furthering education to university, scholarship opportunities, and entrepreneurship. The team of speakers included Master Rasheed Starlet, Mr. Simon Pikuut, Master Hafiz Awuni, and Mr. Edwin Adiigi of Bessfa Rural Bank LTD.

Many students face dilemmas after completing their secondary education, unsure of whether to pursue further education or start their own businesses. This event offered valuable insights and guidance to help students navigate these challenges confidently.
