Celebrated American singer, Beyoncé, has officially entered her country music phase with the release of her new album, “Cowboy Carter.”
The 27-track album which was released on March 29, 2024, features Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Linda Martell, Willie Nelson, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts, along with covers of Dolly Parton’s Jolene and The Beatles’ song Blackbird.
Following its official announcement on February 11, 2024, the country music-themed album was preceded by two hit singles, “Texas Hold “Em” and “16 Carriages”.
“Cowboy Carter” also referred to as Act II: Cowboy, is Beyoncé’s eighth studio album. It is the second instalment of Beyoncé’s trilogy project conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, following Renaissance (2022).

Beyoncé, also known in private life as Beyonce Gisselle Knowles, began her music journey by participating in singing competitions at a very young age.
She gained fame as a member of the R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child. Beyonce has won 32 Grammys, as well as 26 MTV Video Music Awards, 35 BET Awards, and 17 Soul Train Music Awards. She is considered the only musician in history with the highest number of Grammy awards.
