Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afiriyie, popularly known in the political circles as Sir John is dead.
The Accra Times confirmed the news from Despite Media’s United Television. Some party officials have also confirmed the news.
Sir John was a former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

It is not clear what the cause of his death is but sources say he tested positive for COVID-19 and was on admission at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.
