Following her willingness to stage a comeback despite being diagnosed with a neurological condition, Celine Dion is reportedly scheduled to perform at the 2024 Paris Olympics, taking place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
The “New Day” hitmaker, known for her enchanting vocal pitch, has been open about her struggles with Stiff Person Syndrome, a condition she was diagnosed with in 2022 that affects the muscles, causing stiffness and spasms.
In her new documentary dubbed “I am Celine Dion” the Canadian songstress vowed to return even if it means “crawling to the stage” to get there. Celine Dion and her team have not yet confirmed the reports of her scheduled performance, despite the ongoing rumors.
Celine Dion is not the only artiste scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic games. Other artistes set to take the stage include France’s Aya Nakamura and the UK’s Dua Lipa.
