CETAG Withdraws Services Across Campuses in Protest of Salary Freeze

The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has withdrawn all services across its campuses in response to the Education Minister's directive to freeze their July 2024 salaries, vowing to take legal action and continue fighting until justice is served.

Following an emergency meeting on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has announced the withdrawal of all services across their campuses.

This decision reflects the Association’s determination to take decisive action in pursuit of its goals.

“In an emergency meeting of National Council today, 23rd July 2024, council members took a unanimous decision to withdraw all our services which include attendance to meetings, congregation ceremonies, and provision of academic counseling services as well as supervision of students in the halls of residence with immediate effect until further notice,” an excerpt of their press release said.
