Council of State Member and Owner of La Bianca Reported Dead

Reports say she died from an illness on Tuesday, June 11, although an official statement from her family or the company is yet to be made.

The owner of La Bianca Company Limited and Council of State member, Ms. Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh, has passed on, according to many reports.

Reports say she died from an illness on Tuesday, June 11, although an official statement from her family or the company is yet to be made.

Ms. Asomah-Hinneh dominated media discussion in 2022 when the Office of Special Prosecutor (OSP) alleged corrupt dealings and influence peddling against her frozen food company in the procurement of customs advance ruling.

The OSP had said she used her political position to obtain unlawful reductions of benchmark values of frozen food products imported by Labianca under the guise of customs advance rulings.
