COVID-19: Ghana’s Case Count now 8,070 with 2,947 Recoveries

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana as at the evening of May 31, stands at 8,070 according to the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his latest address to the nation on new measures taken by his government against the coronavirus.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo also said Ghana has conducted two hundred and eighteen thousand, four hundred and twenty-five (218,425) tests.

Ghana’s death and hospitalization has been low as there are only 36 deaths. The president touts this feat to his government’s proactive measures taken since Ghana recorded its first two cases on March 12 this year.
