Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has asked the National Chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, to resign from his position.
According to him, his request is as a result of the weak leadership the former Local Government Minister has shown in his administration.
In a radio interview monitored , Mr Anyidoho said Ofosu-Ampofo has so far demonstrated weak leadership skills and that has led to gross disrespect for senior members of the party by the youth in the party.
“He is not leading, he’s a coward. He rather prefers talking about Koku Anyidoho and Allotey Jacobs…he ought to step aside if he’s not prepared to do so…,” he said.

He argued that the growing disrespect in the party made Sammy Gyamfi insult the speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.
“Otherwise how on earth can the likes of Sammy Gyamfi who just came to the party have the temerity to insult Bagbin…,” he quized.
