Dumsor to End in Accra as Tie-in is completed at Pokuase Bulk Supply Point

The erratic power supply, otherwise known as Dumsor which has been experienced by power consumers in Accra will soon be a thing of the past due to the completion of the tie-in programme at the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) station at Pokuase.

The tie-in which involved the erection of new pylons and replacement of old cables led to the power outages in parts of the capital.

Electricity Distribution company, ECG had explained that they needed to off the lights to allow the work to go on; the ECG therefore released a dumsor timetable for this purpose.
