Lawyer Kodua disclosed that “Ejisu people have continuously shown commitment to us by endorsing our candidates as Members of Parliament since 1996 and we are committed to retaining the parliamentary seat in the upcoming by-election so we can continue with both the development projects and initiatives we’ve started”.

The By-election has been necessitated by the death on March 7, 2024, of the Member of Parliament of the constituency, Dr John Ampontuah Kumah.
