The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the replacement of Voter ID Cards will start on May 30, and end on June 14, 2024.
The Voter ID Card replacement service is for those who have lost their Voter ID Cards and need a new one to participate in the December 7 General Elections.
On Tuesday, May 28, the Electoral Commission released a statement informing Ghanaians that they can replace their lost or missing Voter ID Cards by using the shortcode *222*1067# to make a payment for the replacement.
The EC added that “the cost for replacement is Ten Ghana Cedis (GH¢10.00) only,” a portion of the statement read.
