Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan, Joe Ghartey, has commended Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration for its enviable record in the establishment of fire training schools in the country.
According to Hon. Ghartey, since 1957 when Ghana had independence the country has had only one fire training school until President Akufo-Addo took office in 2017.
“President Akufo-Addo has seen to the establishment of three fire training schools while the fourth one is about to be started”, Hon. Ghartey said.
He was speaking at the International Fire Fighters Day Celebration at the Western Regional Headquarters of the Ghana National Fire Service, Sekondi.

The Essikado-Ketan MP announced that plans were far advanced to acquire land for the establishment at Essikado of a specialized training facility for the Fire Service.
“These developments are remarkable and a quantum leap in the provision of training infrastructure for the Ghana National Fire Service”, he said.
To him, such a laudable achievement is a remarkable reason for Ghanaians to appreciate the NPP administration and vote for Dr Bawumia.
