Former Employee Files Lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion

Emilio Garcia, Megan's former cameraman, claimed that the female rapper forced him to watch her have sexual intercourse with another woman in an SUV while on a trip to Ibiza, Spain.

A former cameraman of American rapper Megan Pete, popularly known as Megan Thee Stallion, has filed a lawsuit against her, claiming that she subjected him to an abusive work environment while they were working.

Emilio Garcia, Megan’s former cameraman, claimed that the female rapper forced him to watch her have sexual intercourse with another woman in an SUV while on a trip to Ibiza, Spain.

Garcia, who has worked with Megan since 2019, said Megan reduced his monthly salary, gave him fewer bookings, and prohibited him from working for others.

He also claims Megan verbally abused him, calling him a ‘Fat F*ck,’ and telling him to stop eating on multiple occasions.

“To hear someone who advocates for loving your body tell me these things, I felt degraded,” he said.

He claims he experienced emotional distress and unspecified physical injuries as a result of Megan’s alleged behaviour.

“Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behaviour to employees is definitely illegal,” Garcia’s lawyer said.

Garcia is suing for unpaid wages and interest, as well as damages and wage penalties under California labour law.

Megan’s lawyer has also responded to the allegations, labelling them as a means to make money off the rapper.

“This is an employment claim for money with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court,” he said.

This won’t be the first time Megan has appeared in the news tabloids. She was shot in the foot during an incident in Los Angeles in 2020 by rapper and singer Tory Lanez. Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence in August 2023 for the shooting.

Megan also sued her label, 1501 Entertainment, in 2020, citing disagreements with the terms of her recording agreement. The two parties settled out of court in October 2023 and ended their working relationship.
