The Full AFCON draw for 2021 has been officially revealed, handing Ghana an easy one in Group D.
The draw, hashtagged #TotalEnergiesAfcon was held some few hours ago was graced by prominent personalities, as usual, in Legendary Cameroonian forward; Roger Milla and many others.
It saw the Black Stars of Ghana been placed alongside the senior national teams of Morocco, Comoros, and Gabon.
This means Arsenal teammates in the persons of Thomas Partey and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will get to share a pitch on an international stage, however, on opposite ends of the field.
CAF President; Dr. Patrice Motsepe noted that the prize money for the competition would go to the players of the winning team, he also stipulated a juicer package than the existing $4.5 million.
The opening game which begins on 9th January 2022 is much anticipated to be sizzling seeing hosts, Les Lions Indomptables Cameroon and Les Etalons of Burkina Faso in a heated clash.
