Residents in areas such as Accra, Kasoa, Tema, Aflao, Ada, Foah, Ho, Dodze, Sogakope, Akatsi, and their environs are advised to brace for rain, with a 60 per cent chance forecasted during the day.

Head of forecasting for GMet Felicity Ahafianyo said residents should embrace themselves from the rains as the rain mostly in the northern part of the region will be experienced in the afternoon.

“There will be 3 separate rainstorms. One has dissolved and the other ones are expected to happen between 11 am to 1pm and so people should take care. Generally, we will experience some cloudy weather as well, ” she said.

The rains over the past week have destroyed some cars and flooded the Accra Kasoa roads, leaving commuters stranded.
