Ghanaian contemporary gospel musician, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto better known as KODA, is reported to have died today after battling a kidney disease.
Many fans and gospel musicians were shocked to learn of his passing when it was announced on Sunday afternoon.
Nii Okai, a gospel musician and close friend of the deceased, confirmed KODA’s passing to Graphic Showbiz this afternoon.

“I wish I could tell you another thing but that’s the truth. KODA is dead,” he said.
He stated that the news was shocking to him, especially since the deceased had been treated for kidney disease and was recovering until his death today.
The gospel musician’s family has not yet issued an official statement about his death.
KODA, celebrated for his uplifting melodies and iconic guitar skills, left an indelible mark on Ghana’s gospel music scene as both a singer and a producer. He is known for churning out hits like “Nsempii,” “Nkwa Abodoo,” “Yapai,” and “Adorso.”
