Hassan Ayariga shares his traumatic Covid-19 experience

A former presidential aspirant and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has shared his distressful experience with Covid-19 after has got discharged from the COVID-19 isolation centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

In a post on social media, the politician said despite the distress in getting Covid he is thankful to all who supported and prayed for him.

“I am grateful to “God and my family for all their support and effort. To my wife, I say a big thank you, May God continues to bless you and protect you for me. And to my loved ones and all those who prayed for me I say big Ayeko.” he said.

Mr Ayariga, who was on admission for three weeks, also cautioned Ghanaians who believe they are invincible against the coronavirus.

“Covid 19 is real, and it’s no respecter of persons. Wear your nose mask, wash your hands, and stay safe” he added.

He further expressed his gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the hospital as well.

“Help me thank all the Doctors, Nurses, EMTs, Orderlies, and all medical officers and personnel of International Maritime hospital ( IMAH) and KBTH for their wonderful and excellent service and treatment. And to All those who interceded on my behalf, I say a big thank you” he noted.

Currently, with the death toll standing at 906, Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases stood at 6,440 with 109,736 confirmed cases and 102,390 recoveries.
