A nine-member Board of Directors to run the affairs of Accra Hearts of Oak sporting club, aka, the Phobians, has been formed. The new board is made up of 4 old directors and 5 new directors.
The old board members are Togbe Afede XIV, Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe and Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei while the new faces are, Delali Anku-Adiamah, Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa, Mr Kwasi Agyernan, Ing Dr Kenneth Ashigbey and Mr Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom.
A statement issued on March 27, 2024, by the management of the club that put in place the new board announced Thursday, April 4, 2024, as a new date for the Club’s 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) originally scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Hearts of Oak dissolved its Board of Directors on February 27, 2024, after 11 years, a decision that was taken by Strategic Initiatives Ltd and Strategic African Securities Ltd, majority owners of Accra Hearts of Oak SC Plc.
