Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by many as Fameye, has finally revealed what he went through when he used to go to church. The
VGMA New Artiste of the Year-2020 winner elaborated on how some women at his church criticized his hairstyle and his wearing of earrings.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana on the Atuu TV program, he said ”I don’t go to church but I pray a lot. I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized…some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings..I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church.”
He added that although he has stopped going to church, he continues to pray and he is inspired by the Bible verse; 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Thus, he prays without ceasing.
