I Intend to Keep My Promises – John Mahama

Addressing attendees at the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue in Peduase, Eastern Region, Mr. Mahama highlighted key pledges, including the streamlining of government, the abolition of ex gratia, and the removal of the e-levy.

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has reassured Ghanaians of his commitment to honouring all campaign promises he is making to the Ghanaian people ahead of the December elections if entrusted with the mandate.

Addressing attendees at the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue in Peduase, Eastern Region, Mr Mahama highlighted key pledges, including the streamlining of government, the abolition of ex gratia, and the removal of the e-levy.

“I mean business on the promises I have made and I intend to keep them,” the former President affirmed.

During his speech, Mr Mahama highlighted the potential of his policy initiatives, including the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” which he believes could significantly boost the country’s economic prospects.

“Since 2021, I have outlined over 60 different policy proposals, carefully curated to restore our economy and national life in general, to a much better state,” he added.

Furthermore, the presidential candidate indicated that if elected into power, his government would prioritize completing all pending and uncompleted projects and initiate constitutional reforms.

During the two-day NDC Policy Dialogue, various party groups actively participated in discussions and refined policy proposals. The proposals are intended for inclusion in the party’s 2024 election manifesto.
