According to reports, both K.K Fosu and Bless sustained serious leg injuries, while the journalist and publicist who has been identified as John Claude Tamakloe, died on the spot. Both musicians are presently in critical condition and have been transferred from a hospital in the Central Region to a hospital in Accra. The driver of the team’s vehicle was unscathed.

Speaking in an Interview with UTV, the driver, Nana Obiri Yeboah, claimed that the accident happened after a white Mercedes Benz C300 made an overtaking, which caused all other cars travelling in the direction of the Apam junction, to shift to the shoulder of the road, to create space for the Benz car.

”Like the other cars, we also moved to the shoulder of the road to allow the vehicle to pass but it crashed into our car, a situation I became aware of when I regained consciousness, he said

K.K Fosu was known in the early 2000s for his distinct vocals and hit songs including “Suudwe”, and “Anadwo Yede” among others.  Bless, also well-known for his smash hit “Chochomucho”, made his music debut in 2009 with the single “Meda Enda,” which catapulted him into stardom.
