Kenya’s President, William Ruto arrived in Ghana on Tuesday evening, to begin a three-day visit that will see the East African nation’s president and Ghanaian leaders engage in bilateral talks around trade, education, and investment.
While in Ghana, Ruto plans to visit the Africa Continental Free Trade Area headquarters and speak at the Ghana-Kenya Business Forum, which opened on Tuesday.
Last, year, Ghana announced plans to establish an Export Trade House (ETH) in Kenya as part of measures to promote trade relations between the two countries. So it is no doubt that Ruto’s visit largely falls on bilateral trade discussions.
According to state publication The Daily Graphic, Ghana and Kenya are set to sign bilateral agreements during Ruto’s three-day visit.
