Ghanaian blogger, Kobby Kyei, along with rapper, Medikal and Naa Ayeley, the First runner up for Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageantry show, have donated stationery items to students in Oduman Asuaba M/A Basic school in the Ga South District.
The trio collaborated to donate items to the children of the school after social media blogger, Kobby Kyei , reported on the dilapidated conditions in the school May 15, 2024. The students who had inadequate furnitures in the school sat on building blocks whiles others sat on the floor. Due to a lack of classrooms, students in Kindergartens One and Two were combined into a single class to learn.
It's truly disheartening how our leaders neglect basic education in Ghana. A strong foundation is crucial. Authorities need to focus on government basic schools across the country. The environment and learning conditions for some of these children are heartbreaking. 💔
