As the world commemorates International Women’s Day (IWD) today, March 8, 2024, former First Lady and President of the Lordina Foundation, Lordina Dramani Mahama, has called on women and girls to empower and celebrate each other, standing together in solidarity.

In her message to women across the globe, Mrs. Mahama emphasized the importance of supporting and uplifting one another. She urged women and girls to recognize the significance of solidarity in ensuring that every woman and girl feels valued in all aspects of society.

“Today, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, let us remember the importance of supporting and uplifting one another. we must empower and celebrate each other and stand together in solidarity. Our responsibilities include ensuring every woman and girl feels valued in all aspects of society,” she said.
