While many people on social media platforms pandered to his style of rapping, other people remained skeptical about the viral claim that he is a mute rapper. To some critics, MC Baba is a rapper with an unentertaining style of rap, accusing him of faking the act.
MC Baba, known as the face of “Deaf Hop,” a sub-genre of hip hop for deaf and mute rappers, has been featured on ‘Oko Lela Epa Ya Nani,’ a rap song by Congolese rapper Paterne Maestro. The duo performed the song to a crowd in Brazzaville, Congo.
