The Spacetop G1 laptop, also referred to as the “AR Laptop for work,” is a brand-new laptop that has an Augmented Reality (AR) glass in place of a standard laptop screen. It consists of a keyboard and trackpad that are protected by a hardcover.
How does the Spacetop G1 function without a screen?
The 100-inch screen that Spacetop G1 projects can be split into multiple screens for use or used as a single screen using the attached A.R. glasses. The floating screen is only visible to the user who is wearing the glasses. The A.R. glasses come with two 1080p OLED screens that have a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Additionally, the glasses feature an in-built speaker and microphone to improve video calls.
The Spacetop G1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS8550 chipset and comes with 128GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM. The device is designed for basic work tasks like emailing, spreadsheet editing, web browsing, and presentation drafting. It might not be suitable enough to play video games just yet.
