In partnership with the Livingstone Foundation, Ghanaian Afro-dancehall musician Stonebwoy Burniton joined widows in Kasoa to celebrate Mother’s Day this year.
Stonebwoy and his entourage presented the gifts to the widows as part of the Mother’s Day celebrations at the Space 86 lounge in Kasoa to express gratitude to the mothers in Kasoa for their role in child-rearing.

The BET award-winning musician, who lost his mother, Catherine Setekla, in 2015 after a brief illness, is no stranger to giving back to the less fortunate in society.
On his birthday in March 2018, the “Run Go” hitmaker stormed the Korle-Bu hospital to pay off medical bills owed by patients who were stuck there. In 2018, Stonebwoy commissioned mechanised boreholes in four Western Region communities through his charity foundation, the Livingstone Foundation.
In 2021, the Livingstone Foundation donated items such as personal protective equipment (PPE), hand sanitisers, nose masks, liquid soaps, tissues, leather mattresses, rice, and drinks to the Orthopaedic Training Centre and medical facility in Accra.
Some months after releasing his “5th Dimension” album in 2023, he donated food and drinks to the famous Makola market women, who are well-known for their dance moves on social media.
The donation is part of the foundation’s charitable events, which seek to extend its benevolence to individuals and institutions in Ghana that are handicapped.
