The New Tain District Hospital is set to open soon following the announcement of the Ministry of Health.
The 60-bed capacity hospital had early on been inaugurated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the year 2020 as part of the nine hospital project.

This announcement, therefore, comes as no surprise to many people. The District Hospital which is located on the Nsakaw Wench road in the Bono Region will start operation from Monday 6th September.
The announcement has been welcomed by members of the community who were overjoyed to have an ultra-modern hospital of their own.
They are hopeful that the Tain District Hospital will improve access to essential and quality healthcare and reduce the pressure on the old hospital ceasing to work from the aforementioned date.
