Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Davido, has finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Chioma Rowland, in an extravagant wedding ceremony today, June 25, 2024.
The ceremony, held on Tuesday at Harbour Point in Lagos State’s Victoria Island, marked the culmination of their relationship as the couple exchanged vows. Videos and photos from the wedding dominated trends on major social media ahead of the event, particularly with the hashtag #chivido2024.
Davido’s grand wedding event was a high-profile gathering attended by Nigerian dignitaries and artistes, including artists from his record label, such as Peruzzi and Logos Olori, as well as notable artists like Patroranking, P-Square, Lojay, Don Jazzy, and others.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Senator Daisy Danjuma of Edo South, Seyi Tinubu son of President Tinubu amongst others.
