The Ghana Football Association has named Milovan Rajevac as the new Black Stars Coach.
After long-drawn negotiations and interviewing of interested candidates, the GFA has finally made its choice. The Serbian will be assisted by Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu.
Although the favourite on many lips was Herve Renard, however, fans will hope this remontada is a mirror image of his last stint with the Black Stars which saw him lead us to the enviable Quarterfinal finish in theSouth Africa 2010 World Cup.
These are the full details of his contract: $100,000 sign-on fee to be paid within 3 months, $30,000 monthly salary from which he would pay his interpreter.
Additionally, a 1-year contract that runs till September 2022 and is subject to an automatic extension if he qualifies for the World Cup.
It is also believed he is due bonuses in the region of $300,000 if he wins AFCON.
