The UCC Chancellor, Dr. Sir Sam Esson Jonah, speaking at the ceremony was full of praise for the Paramount Chief for his outstanding leadership in ensuring that the University lived in harmony with the surrounding communities.

“Osabarima’s love for Cape Coast, his contributions to the university, his role in promoting regional unity and peace, and his advocacy for local development make him an exemplary honoree. Indeed, this honour is long overdue,” Dr. Sir Sam Esson Jonah, explained.

The UCC Vice Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, stressed UCC‘s continuous commitment to recognising and rewarding individuals who contribute to the advancement of society.
