A Police Chief Inspector has been interdicted over what his bosses describe as “unprofessional conduct” in a video he posted on social media aiming criticisms at President Akufo-Addo.
In the 4-minute video which appears to have been shot at a drinking bar, Benjamin Doe Kuwornu introduced himself and asked for audience with President Akufo-Addo, saying the country has been mismanaged under the current administration.

He ends the video reiterating his intentions to meet the President, saying he wants to “teach him how to govern.”
In a statement on Tuesday reacting to the video, the Police Administration said an investigation would be conducted in line with Police Service Regulations while Kuwornu remains interdicted.
“We would like to reiterate our assurance to the general public that the Police Service will continue to ensure that professionalism is maintained at all times in the discharge of our mandate,” the statement said.
