The Office of the President has stated that Dr John Ofori-Tenkorang’s exit from office as director–general of SSNIT has nothing to do with any form of misconduct or wrongdoing on his part.
“Indeed, Dr John Ofori-Tenkorang’s exit from office is part of the ongoing restructuring of Government being undertaken by President Akufo-Addo,” the office said in a statement signed by Eugene Arhin and dated April 13, 2024.
The statement further explained that: “The President is satisfied with the performance of Dr John Ofori-Tenkorang as Director-General of SSNIT in the past seven years, as the institution, under his watch, witnessed some impressive transformation”.
