Calling all Burger and American-style food connoisseurs, I have found the perfect spot to grab a bite while feeling like you’re right downtown New York City.
Located in the up-and-coming metropolis of Tse Addo, 22 Burgers and Grills is a full-fledged restaurant that boasts of extensive menu, excellent customer service, and a vibe that is appealing to the millennial crowd.
In January of 2023, owner Yaw KariKari saw a need, noticing that there were no restaurants within a five-mile radius, and so he decided to bring a piece of America to Ghana.

Atmosphere: 9/10
Right alongside my love of food is music. The right playlist or the DJ determines and enhances the atmosphere of any place, which is why I give 22 Burgers and Grills a nine out of ten. Every song that came out of the speakers was a banger and had me bopping along while enjoying my meal.
Service: 8.5/10
The service was wonderful, and I received my food quickly which I appreciated. I was greeted with a smile upon arrival and the waitress kept checking in to make sure I didn’t need anything.
Food Quality: 8.5/10
I ordered the 22 Supreme Burger which had a beef patty, fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese and mayo and it came with bacon, but I had mine without it. As soon as I bit into this burger, I had a foodgasm; the burger buns were soft and fluffy, and the beef was cooked to perfection with the fried egg adding the perfect touch of flavor. I also had the Tuna salad to balance out the burger (haha), it was delicious as well and the portion size was great.
Price: 9/10
I thought the pricing was very reasonable. There was something in each category on the menu for GHC67 which is the lowest price and includes Sliders and Shawarmas. The most expensive food item on the menu is the ‘Biggie Burger’ which is the burger that I ordered but with two beef patties, for GHC131.

22 Burgers and Grills is open from 11 am-12 am which is perfect for those random cravings at any point of the day. They are also introducing Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches to the menu, which I must go back to try because if the burger was that delicious, I can only imagine how the Philly Cheesesteak would be.
Overall Experience:
Overall, I would give 22 Burgers and Grills a 9/10. If you’re looking for a nice chill spot to grab a beer, good food, or hangout with friends, this is a great place. I loved the view of the city while enjoying my food and the chill atmosphere. It’s definitely one of those spots that I’ll be visiting again with friends.
