Ace Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has announced that he will release a new mixtape dubbed “The Championship” for his fans.
Sarkodie posted the mixtape’s cover image and release date on his Instagram page on May 8, 2024.
“Decided a few days ago to drop a mixtape for Sarknation! Everything will be happening together in real time so we are in this together. The tape drops on May 24 (it ccould be earlier). More info coming up,” Sarkodie captioned the post.

The “Adonai” hitmaker, who recently graced Medikal’s 02 show, has announced a date for a listening session for fans in London while working on new music and filming music videos.
“The Championship” mixtape follows the Jamz album, which was released in 2022. He also released a six-track hip-hop EP, titled “Alpha” in 2019. Sarkodie currently has six studio albums to his credit.
Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. He started his music career as an underground rapper and gained popularity through rap competitions. He finally rose to fame after releasing his debut album, Makye, in 2009. He won the BET award for Best International Act Africa and Best International Flow in 2012 and 2019, respectively.
