Savannah Region: Police Deploy More Personnel to Bole Over Reports of Unnatural Deaths

Reports indicate no arrests have been made yet about the murders

The Ghana Police Service has instructed more of its men, including a team of experts to join its Savannah Regional Command to unravel three reported cases of unnatural deaths in the Bole district in the last six months.

A statement said forensic experts, intelligence offices, homicide investigators, and a crime scene management team are in the region, working on the cases.

“Police visibility and patrols have been intensified with more operational officers deployed to the town and its surrounding environs.”

Reports indicate no arrests have been made yet about the murders.

“As for the killings in Bole, it has been happening just because our leaders are not up to the task and are not helping. Because from 2021 up to date, about twenty people have been killed yet not even a single arrest of the suspects and they are still killing us,” said one opinion leader who spoke to JoyNews on anonymity after the body of a middle-aged man was discovered in a septic on Sunday.
